Harmonix ha presentado ya la lista definitiva con las nuevas canciones con las que debutará Rock Band 4 el próximo 6 de octubre entre las cuales encontramos grupos como R.E.M., 4 Non Blondes, Dream Theater, Van Halen, ¡y muchos más! Cabe aclarar que aparte de este listado, el juego será compatible con la gran mayoría de canciones publicadas en títulos anteriores de la franquicia, es decir que el repertorio completo de Rock Band 4 será de más de 1.500 canciones. Por su parte, el product manager del juego musical, Daniel Sussman comentó lo siguiente:
A menos de 20 días para el lanzamiento, estamos encantados de anunciar el conjunto final de canciones, para que los fans del juego musical tengan una imagen más clara de lo que van a rockear con sus amigos y familiares este mes de octubre. Y esto es solo el principio. Con más de 1.500 canciones disponibles de lanzamiento en Music Store y muchas más por llegar. Confiamos en que, este otoño, Rock Band 4 va a proporcionar a los aficionados la mejor experiencia en juegos musicales.
